Toby Renken

Toby was an incredibly special and loving companion.  His brother and sister, his Mommy and Daddy and his many friends and coworkers will miss him tremendously.     

 

Adopted as a puppy, Toby brought instant joy into his parents' lives.  At the time, he was a playful puppy with a head that seemed twice the size of his body.  As he grew, his tail got a reputation for thumping like a baseball bat, his wagging often noisily signaling his happiness.  He was so sweet.  He loved all friends and strangers.  He was always ready for anyone's attention.  Attention and affection were easily given because Toby was so warm and friendly with everyone he met.    

 

Against all odds, Toby overcame the many health obstacles life handed him.  In each challenge, he always maintained the spirit to overcome it while always projecting the warmth and love that made him so endearing to all his family and friends.  Given the number of serious challenges he faced, his family considers themselves so fortunate to have benefited from his boundless love for almost 14 years. 

 

Toby's family and friends were all available in his final days to say goodbye and give him their love.  He got to enjoy a last night by the fire.  He got to have all his favorite treats and sleep in all his favorite spots.  He spent lots of time with the attention of his Mommy and Daddy and his sister and brother.  We love you so much, Toby.  Thank you for all the love you bestowed on us.  You mean the world to us.  You were the best.
