About Us

Pet Rest Cemetery and Cremation has been serving the Lowcountry since 1983. As a locally owned company, we have worked hard to earn our excellent reputation. We're dedicated to providing the best and most professional care for our clients during their time of grieving and healing.

Because you care ... Remembering the companionship and devotion shared between humans and pets can lead to cherished memories long after the pet's life has ended. It's proper that we give careful thought to our pet's final arrangements.

Because we care ... We believe in providing the bereaved pet owner compassionate assistance with their pet's final arrangements. For decades, our small business has grown into one of the largest and most respected pet cemetery and cremation service providers in the Southeast.

At Pet Rest, we believe ... pets are an integral part of our everyday lives and should be respected as such. We strive daily to honor the connection between pets and owners and hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards. This is a workplace full of people who are compassionate about animals and the bonds that are formed with them.

We are here to serve you ... seven days a week and have a 24-hour paging system. Our full service operation provides many options for you and your pet's needs.

Our mission

At Pet Rest Cemetery and Cremation, our trifold mission centers around respect, dignity, and service

Respect ... We treat our clients with respect and pledge to respect your pet’s life and journey. We feel honored to be a part of the transition from this world to the next. We hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards and show the utmost care in all we do.

Dignity ... We want to show dignity to our clients throughout their grief and healing. As pet owners ourselves, we take the connection between humans and animals very seriously. Nothing matters more to us than how you and your furry family members are treated. As an extension of that idea, we even offer a Pet Loss Support Group that meets once a month

Service ... Since 1983, almost four decades, we have been assisting Lowcountry pet owners in their time of need. We are a full-service provider, operating seven days a week with a 24-hour paging system. We have a pet cemetery if burial is preferred, and we have the ability to perform separate and private cremations. In addition, we carry a wide variety of urns, ranging from simple to ornate.

Visit Our Family Room

Sometimes we need a little time with our family member before we’re physically ready to let go. The family room is a quiet space that allows for humans and other pets to pay their final respects. Comfortable and private, the family room is located onsite and is available to our clients.
